The Price of Having a Family

As I’m heading to my apartment I’m wandering of what to do because it’s only 4pm. Too early to take a dinner. Well I’m still full because of the early snack. And I’m too lazy to cook for myself. And I’m so tired to do some house hold things. So I turn on the TV, scroll all the channels before I settle to this one TV Show (A talk show) that talk about of having a family.

Yes! Settling down. There’s these two well know couples in showbiz world who interview about having a family. They said at first it’s so hard, so many adjustment, a baby coming and working for the family and for the future of the children. They also said that it’s so different when the 1st baby born. The attention is for the baby and there are times that they forget their husband/wife. One couple said that if they have an extra time they spend playing golf. And the both of them go to supermarket just to make up for the times that they are so busy of their work. Things and stuff like that.

But the nice thing of having a family is having a companion all through the years and sharing your every moment with your family and being happy of what life you choose for.

Family is the utmost premium of Filipinos. Our extended families are huge, and all living under the same roof! Hehe..

I am childless and don’t really have the urge to build a family of my own. The hubby and I just up and run away whenever we choose to, wherever we want to go. Maybe, that’s also the good side of not having kids - just quickly stuff two backpacks and hie off to the mountains or the beach, anytime.
